Back-to-back jacks in the 10th tie, then win Game 2 for Arkansas

Both playoff games on Sunday were decided by back-to-back home runs but Arkansas did it more dramatic fashion - in extra innings.

The Golden Falcons stole Game 2 in 10 innings, winning 3-2, to go up 2-0 on San Francisco in the Best-of-7 semifinal series.

Alex Gordon's solo home run with one out in the top of the 10th off Joaquin Benoit put San Francisco ahead 2-1. Francisco Rodriguez came on for a save, retired the first batter, but then served up a home run to Anthony Rizzo to tie the game and then the game-winning blast to Buster Posey.

Arkansas got three hits apiece out of two players for the second straight game, this time Rizzo and Martin Prado. Prado singled to lead off the 3rd and scored on a Billy Burns sacrifice fly to jump out to a brief 1-0 lead. Seth Smith tied it for San Francisco with a solo shot in the 4th and it was zeroes until extra innings.

The Golden Falcons got a huge performance out of Matt Harvey, who struck out 12 and walked 1 in 7 2/3 innings. He scattered 7 hits in giving up just 1 run. Joaquin Benoit went 2 1/3 innings and struck out 2 while picking up the win. He only hit he allowed was the Gordon home run.

Chris Sale wasn't bad either for The Experience, tossing 1-run ball on 6 hits over 6 innings. He struck out 6 and walked 2. Kenley Jansen followed with 2 innings in relief and Darren O'Day pitched another perfect 9th inning.

The series will move to San Francisco for Game 3 on Tuesday. Mike Fiers takes the mound for The Experience. Edinson Volquez is expected to get the nod for the Golden Falcons.
