There was only one 20-game winner in the DMBL this season but a few other hurlers put up historically good years in some categories.
Johnny Cueto's 22 wins for Vancouver are the most since Trevor Cahill notched 24 wins for Philly in 2013.
Rookie Chris Devenski challenged for the ERA title, piling up more than 166 innings for Livingston -- as a reliever. But it was Rich Hill who came off the DL late in the season and secured the best ERA. It's the second straight season that a Tucson pitcher won the ERA title, after Jake Arrieta finished first in 2016.
Another rookie reliever that fared well was 35-year-old Tucson closer Seung Hwan Oh, who put up a historic save percentage of .970, blowing just 1 save in 33 opportunities.
Hoboken's Clayton Kershaw put up a historic strikeout-to-walk ratio. His 8.9 K/BB was among the best ever for a starter or reliever, eclipsing Pedro Martinez (8.6 in 2001) and Cliff Lee (8.5 in 2011), and matching Dennis Eckersley (8.9 in 1999).
