Adames, Bell share MVP honors

Green Lake secured its first championship in franchise history with a 6-3 win in a dramatic Game 7 versus Vancouver in the DMBL Series. SS Willy Adames and 1B Josh Bell, who topped the Gators with 3 HR and 7 RBI in the finals, shared MVP honors.

Fearsome bullpen leads Trojans to 1st DMBL title

In their playoff debut, the Empire City Trojans ran the gauntlet through a full complement of games in three rounds of playoff, culminating in a 3-1 comeback in the finals to secure their first-ever DMBL title.

Cole garners postseason MVP honors

The Livingston Lords of Swing claimed their 3rd DMBL title, becoming the first team in 15 years to win go back-to-back, Gerrit Cole added to his trophy case, and after a lengthy, stellar career Albert Pujols finally got his DMBL ring.

With clutch hits, Ozuna earns playoff MVP

Marcell Ozuna blasted a grand slam in Game 163 to help Tucson clinch the Clemente Division over Arkansas and get into the playoffs as the No. 4 seed. Technically, that was the still the regular season but it was just the start of a hot postseason for the Kingsnakes left-fielder.

Tucson 1-hits Hopatcong to clinch 2nd crown

Tucson limited the highest-scoring offense in the league to just a 1st-inning single and shut out Hopatcong, 7-0, in Game 5 on Thursday in Hopatcong to win their second DMBL championship in three seasons.

Late Ozuna HR stands up for Game 3 win

Marcell Ozuna hit a tie-breaking solo homer in the bottom of the 7th inning and the Tucson bullpen made it hold up to grab a 5-4 home win over Hopatcong in Game 3 of the DMBL Series.

Strasburg, bullpen lead Hopatcong to Game 1 victory

Hopatcong followed its typical formula on Friday night. The Fish got 6 strong innings from Stephen Strasburg and three relievers combined to allow one hit over the final three innings., followed by scoreless three innings from its bullpen for a 6-3 win over Tucson in Game 1 of the best-of-seven DMBL Series.

Kershaw's dominant playoff run ends with MVP

Clayton Kershaw was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2017 DMBL playoffs after completing an utterly dominating postseason run in which he won two games in each round of the playoffs, including the Game 7 clincher for the Hoboken Cutters.

Cutters, Kershaw crush Straphangers in Game 7 to win second World Series title

Clayton Kershaw capped a dominant postseason run with his second shutout of the World Series for Hoboken in a 12-0 blowout of Sardine City in Game 7. It's the second DMBL World Series title in five years for the Cutters, who came back from a game down for the third consecutive round.

Daniel Norris and two relievers made Joc Pederson's 6th inning solo home run stand up before an insurance homer by Eric Hosmer in the 9th, to give Sardine City a 2-0 win in Game 5 at Hoboken.

Hoboken edges Sardine City in Game 1 behind error, Kershaw 1-hit shutout

The Hoboken Cutters left 11 men on base but managed to score one run on an error. That was enough for Clayton Kershaw, who limited Sardine City to one hit in their World Series debut, facing the minimum 27 batters in a 1-0 Game 1 victory that was almost the first perfect game in playoff history.

Arkansas wins ugly to take 2-1 series lead

A single, a walk, an error, and groundball double play -- it wasn't the most exciting way to score runs but Arkansas took advantage to put up the biggest offensive output of the DMBL World Series so far, taking Game 3 by a score of 4-2, for a 2-1 series lead.
